A selection of native plant materials will be introduced to areas surrounding the Caldeira, augmenting the existing pine landscape to provide seasonal variety and attract wildlife in natural drifts. Where the canopy is sparse, reforestation procedures will be implemented with the use of primarily Pinus species. Invasive non-natives will be eradicated and replaced with appropriate species.
